Position Description :

This position will serve as the main point of contact for oncology outpatients requiring diagnostic testing for abnormal findings. This position will routinely provide navigation services for patients with cancer sites other than breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal, or gynecological. They will gain experience in the site specific navigation in order to provide coverage of their colleagues. They will collaborate with referring physicians to understand their preferences for communication about patients’ test results, treatment progress and manage those communications. They will coordinate specialty consultations in conjunction with referring physician and patient preference. They will effectively contribute as a team member in the Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital Cancer Program.

Minimum Requirements :

Education Training and Experience

Master of Science in Nursing preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience including three (3) years of acute oncology.

Licensure/Certification Required

Registered Nurse licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Oncology Certification
