Our Texas Health Presbyterian Plano location has initiated a search for a Interventional Recover Registered Nurse full time.

Schedule/Hours: Work Hours/ Schedule: 2-3/8 hour shifts.


The nurse is an integral member of the interdisciplinary treatment team within the psychiatric illness and chemical dependency programs. The nurse assesses, plans, provides and evaluates direct nursing care and contributes to the patients’ overall treatment plan by establishing treatment goals and interventions to help patients achieve those goals. He/she provides and/or coordinates educational components of patient care that will increase patients’ understanding of health, psychiatric illness, addiction, and rehabilitation. The nurse provides assessment, treatment and consultation services in a sensitive and caring manner and promotes the notion of illness wellness/management, recovery and self-sufficiency as a goal of treatment.

Minimum Education:

Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.

Associate Degree Required; BSN preferred.

RNs hired after January 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.


One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.


1 year critical care or recovery experience


RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.


A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
