Nursing Assistant 2

Are you a Nursing Student in a Baccalaureate or Masters Nursing program passionate about gaining clinical experience? If so, you may be the right candidate for our Nursing Assistant 2 position !

Position Qualifications Include:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Baccalaureate or Masters entry level school of nursing with passing grades in all courses required

  • Completion of fundamental nursing course which includes basic med/surg clinical nursing skills required

  • Current CPR certification required

  • Must be able to commitment at least 1 year to the unit strongly preferred

  • Candidates graduating in 2019 strongly preferred

  • Completion of Med/Surg rotation preferred

  • Units are seeking candidates with the ability to work rotating shifts throughout the year, one weekend shift every 2 weeks (ANY shift), summer hours and holiday breaks


  • Work requires the ability to walk throughout the Medical Center and to be standing or walking most of the designated shift.

  • Work requires lifting or carrying objects 35-40lbs. and lifting and positioning patients, some of whom may exceed 300 lbs.

Special Considerations

Physically heavy load; focus on turns and personal care. Walking Patients, vital signs, feeding patients, fall prevention, occasional 1:1 sitter, emptying drains, other duties as assigned




4 hour, 8 hour, 12 hour shifts
