Job Description Details:
- To serve as an assistant to the Registered Nurse in providing direct, basic patient care to adult patients with simple and complex care needs in a variety of clinical settings. To respond courteously and empathically to patient needs and requests in a timely manner. To provide care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. To assist assigned unit staff to maintain the unit environment in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
High School Graduate/Equivalent
Technical School/1 year college preferred
Certificate in Nursing Assistant Training preferred
