General Summary : Performs perioperative assistive duties in the operating room as assigned i.e., transporting patients, assisting with patient bed transfers, obtaining necessary beds and equipment for procedures, preparation of OR rooms, delivering case carts, stocking OR areas as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties as assigned, including special projects. Performs Anesthesia Tech duties within the OR as assigned.
Maintains good rapport and cooperative relationships. Approaches conflict in a constructive manner. Helps to identify problems, offer solutions, and participates in their resolution. Maintains the confidentiality of information acquired pertaining to patient, physicians, employees, and visitors to St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea /Saint Joseph Mercy Health System. Discusses patient and hospital information only among appropriate personnel in appropriately private places.
Required Education, Experience and Certification/Licensure
1) Minimum of high school diploma
2) A minimum of one year recent related experience
