Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a Full Time, Days, Assistant Nurse Manager, for University Medical Center of Princeton, Emergency Department.

Position Summary: A professional Registered Nurse who is responsible for the direct supervision of nursing staff which is accomplished by: maintaining open lines of communication with staff and management; providing resource information as requested and overseeing the delivery of safe and clinically competent nursing care that is evidenced based.

Qualifications:

All PHCS employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • New Jersey Registered Nurse License

  • Basic Life Saving certification (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (PALS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Experience and clinical competency for area of specialty

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Specialty certification
