Registered Nurse - RN - Research - Phoenix, AZ

ReadyNurse is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to help research the testing of potential new assessment items, in support of the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act.

 

Candidates must have experience in one of the following settings:

  • Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)

  • Home Health Agencies(HHAs)

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs)

  • Long Term Care Hospitals (LTCHs) 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Travel to Santa Monica, California during the week of October 2 – 6, 2017 to attend research study training.

  • RN and experienced in completion of at least one of the following assessment instruments to join our project team: 

  • Minimum Data Set (MDS)

  • Outcomes and Assessment Information Set (OASIS)

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI)

  • LTCH Continuity Assessment Record and Evaluation Data Set (LCDS) 

Project Schedule:

  • Self-study Training – approximately 25-30 hours (total) – September 2017

  • Training in Santa Monica, CA October 2-6, 2017

  • Field training - approximately 32 hours.  Dates will be determined, based upon market / location.

  • Upon completion of training, RNs will be assigned to designated PAC providers:Role will be to train facility staff and test the potential new assessment items.  Successful candidates will be educated on the study assessment tools used in all four PAC settings.
