NextCare, Urgent Care , originally founded in 1993, was established to offer an alternative to overcrowded emergency rooms and offer patients a more pleasant experience when seeking urgent medical care. NextCare, Inc. started with 1 clinic in Arizona 23 years ago and has grown to more than 130 clinics in 10 states making it one of the largest privately owned urgent care providers nationwide.

We are excited to announce that we will be expanding our services into Nogales, Arizona !

NextCare Urgent Care operates stand alone, privately owned clinics, we are not associated with any larger hospital organization. Our focus is to treat patient concerns which require immediate care when their Physician isn’t available and when the need is urgent but not life threatening offering an alternative to the long wait times and cost of an Emergency Room visit. We have onsite lab and x-ray and we are open extended hours during the week and available on the weekends.

NextCare Urgent Care is currently seeking energetic, enthusiastic and bi-lingual (English/Spanish) full-time, Physician Assistants and/or Family Nurse Practitioners preferably with a Family Medicine, Emergency Room or Urgent Care background who enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Most of our Advanced Practice Providers (APP) see approximately 25-35 patients a day, since this will be a new clinic and take some time establish volumes, APP's must be comfortable working alone with a support team of front office and back office professionals. This position is perfect for those who are used to working in an Emergency Room setting where the patient volumes are high and constant, but without the high acuity level.

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with clinical best practices for a urgent care or occupational health setting

  • Provide compassionate and respectful patient care consistent with NextCare’s services, values and mission statement

  • Treat all patients who present to the clinic and document care utilizing the documentation system.

  • Take personal responsibility for appropriately coding and billing for care rendered

  • Deliver exemplary care and act in a legal and ethical manner

  • Maintain clinical productivity consistent with peers and industry standards for a similar setting.

  • Follow up on patient care as indicated.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona medical licensure

  • Current D.E.A. certification

  • Board Certification

  • BLS

  • BI-LINGUAL (English/Spanish) is required for this opportunity
