Do you have a strong background in nursing and management? Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a full-time Clinical Nurse Manager Assistant for the CCP Express Care facility in Monroeville. This position will be working evenings and weekends. The Express Care facility is open 5:00-9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 12:00-8:00 pm Saturday, and 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Sunday.

Purpose:

The Nurse Clinical Manager is responsible for the operations of the Express Care site both clinically and aspects of management.

Responsibilities:

·Coordinates day-to-day site activities through completing nurse-in-charge functions. Participates in the selection of staff. Reviews and approves time sheets and assures that payment for hours worked is administered in accordance with CCP guidelines and contractual agreements where applicable. Provides supervision to both the clinical and registration staff regarding performance of duties and participation in staff development. Completes annual performance appraisals for staff as assigned. Coordinates special administrative projects as requested. Participates in institutional committees/UPMC as assigned. Participates in disciplinary actions as necessary in collaboration with the Nurse Clinical Manager. Responsible for developing and managing the work schedule for the site.

·Staff the site as the RN for an average of 20 hours per week.

·Identifies learning needs of assigned staff and documents plans for meeting those needs. Leads in planning and instructing specific in-service orientation activities and remedial learning interventions. Participates in the collection and dissemination of information.

Qualifications

High school diploma. Associates degree or BSN in Nursing. Previous management experience preferred. 1 year nursing experience preferred in psychiatry.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

  • Act 33 Child Clearance with Renewal

  • Act 73 FBI Clearance

  • Basic Life Support or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
