Schedule:Full-time 30-40 hours
Anesthesiology – Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Anesthesiology to join our team. Under the general direction of the Department Chair and supervising physician, candidates will work autonomously as well as in collaboration with physician colleagues and other healthcare providers to provide and manage the healthcare needs of patients in the pre-operative setting. Responsibilities:Performs management of patientsInitiates appropriate emergency treatment in life-threatening or unusual situations in order to stabilize the patient, conferring directly with the physician and/or referring the patient for further treatment.Adheres to departmental and organizational policies/procedures, including, but not limited to, OSHA regulations, safety and infection control and performance guidelines.Responds to patient and family/significant other concerns and needs promptly.Maintains patient comfort, confidentiality and privacy.Participates in continuing education, departmental meetings and performance improvement activities.Assists in cost containment through the appropriate use and conservation of supplies and equipment and principles of occupational health. Requirements forAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse:· Graduate of accredited APRN program· Board Certification· APRN licensed in the State of New Hampshire· DEA registration· Current CPR certification Requirements forPhysician Assistant:· Graduate of approved training program approved by NH Board of Medicine· PA certified· Current NH PA license· Current CPR certification Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic Keene is a 150 physician and associate provider, multi-specialty community practice associated with the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
