Role Purpose

Responsible for coordinating the daily clinic operations of a high volume physician office. Ensures that all daily operational processes conducted are compliant. Act as clinical lead to guide and direct clinical staff on patient care issues. Ensures a smooth and efficient flow of daily operations between providers, staff members and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison between providers, staff and patients to ensure patient needs are met in an expedient and professional manner.

  • Provides training and oversight of clinical personnel regarding their respective job functions and/or assumes the job responsibility for staff members who might need help or coverage with their assigned duties.

  • Assures that clinical protocols and patient assessment guidelines are followed in accordance with standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines.

  • Supports providers in appropriately documenting patient assessment and treatment protocols in accordance with compliance standards.

  • Monitors enforcement of HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management and any Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment or instruments. (if applicable)
