Provide nursing care for adult medicine, pediatric medicine, and OB/GYN patient populations in a primary care ambulatory care health center.
Provide telephone triage and advice, patient education, direct patient care, and documentation of care using the Epic system.
Knowledge and coordination of internal and external resources related to patient care.
Work with providers and other disciplines to carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses.

Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.

Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of two years of RN experience within the last five years caring for adult medicine and/or pediatric medicine patients in ambulatory care (non-research based.) or emergency department.
Demonstrated expertise in Tele-health nursing and patient education.
Exhibits high standards of personal and professional conduct as measured by interviews, references, and performance evaluations.
Good attendance record as evidenced by references and evaluations.
Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers as measured by interviews, references, and performance evaluations.
Demonstrated critical thinking to effectively and efficiently prioritize and problem solve in a fast paced environment as measured by interviews, references, and performance evaluations.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and seek constructive approaches to resolving conflict as measured by interviews, references, and performance evaluations.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities based on unit, department, and institutional goals/objectives.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability e.g., completion of work, mandatories, goal setting within established time lines.
Proficient with computer and typing skills.

Two years of recent RN experience in primary care.
One year of recent RN experience caring for OB/GYN patients.
Demonstrated experience in providing chronic care management education (i.e. asthma, CAD, diabetes, hypertension).
Proficiency in documenting clinical information in the electronic medical record e.g. Epic.
Ambulatory Care nursing certification.
Participation in quality improvement or LEAN initiatives
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift/Hours/Days: Day/Evening; M-F with rotating Saturdays (day shift)
Location: East Ann Arbor Health Center
- Note: All new employees will be expected to float to a designated unit(s) in times of low census.
